Lee Health Foundation raises $100 million to reach campaign goal for new Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida - America’s newest Children’s Hospital

November 3, 2016- Lee Health Foundation announced that $100 million has been raised to achieve the Campaign GOAL for Children, a five-year, $100 million capital campaign to build the new Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida to serve children and families from Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. The new 292,000-square-foot, 128-bed, 7-story tower is scheduled for completion and opening in April 2017. Read more

The Golisano Health Leadership Award was established in 2016 in partnership with Special Olympics International and the Golisano Foundation, and is given to one of only 32 individuals or organizations in the world who are dedicated to improving the health of people with intellectual disabilities and advancing the health work of Special Olympics. Tom Golisano Gives Nazareth $7.5 Million for New Athletic Training Center to Create A Model of Inclusion, Fitness & Wellness


September 21, 2016 – Nazareth College announced that it is receiving the largest gift in the College’s history. Tom Golisano is giving the College $7.5 million for the construction of a $15.5 million athletic training facility that will bring together the strengths of Nazareth College, Special Olympics, and the Golisano Foundation to create a new model of inclusion, fitness, and wellness. Memorial, UB Partner to Provide Dental Care at Golisano Center for Community Health – $50,000 Grant Awarded by Golisano Foundation for Specialized Equipment

Niagara Falls, NY – July 6, 2016 –Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and UPD Dental Associates today announced an important partnership to make dental services available to children and adults with special needs. Comprehensive preventive and restorative oral health services will be provided at Memorial’s Golisano Center for Community Health by UPD Dental Associates, an affiliate of the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. A $50,000 grant awarded by the Golisano Foundation to purchase specialized equipment for the delivery of those services. Read more
