A Thank You From Tim Shriver, Chairman & CEO of Special Olympics International

Dear Ann:
I can't tell you how wonderful this is and how grateful I am that you, Tom, and the foundation are playing such an amazing leadership role in the Spread the Word campaign (not to mention Healthy Athletes!). I'm sending your note to EVERYONE in our leadership community to remind folks that whether one is committed to health or sports or early childhood or education, one can be a Spread the Word champion and create a tipping point of public awareness that can change whole communities and indeed, countries!
Thanks again for everything.
Tim

Inspirational words from more of our friends

I applaud you, Tom, and the Golisano Foundation for this campaign. I grew up hearing neighborhood kids make fun of my sister's "retard bus" and to this day the word makes me cringe (and breaks my heart) like no other. I'm passing this on and continuing my pledge to educate others. -- Maryalice Keller, Vice President, Brand & Talent Management
