We’re pleased to provide the following grants to Bailey’s Champs, caring, competent providers and organizations that are building capacity, creating opportunities that strengthening the importance of the human-animal bond in personal, occupational, and therapeutic capacities, and promoting responsible, loving pet-ownership.

SNIP Collier, Inc.

$10,000 To purchase and distribute dog, and cat food, vaccines, and medical supplies to tend to the illnesses and injuries rescued pets have sustained due to Hurricane Ian.

Gulf Coast Humane Society

$7,000 To replace vaccines and medicines that expired during Hurricane Ian as well as purchase and distribute litter, dog, and cat food to community members in need of basic supplies.

Flower City Critters

$7,000 to be used towards routine veterinary services to prepare community kittens and cats for adoption and to return feral cats to their colonies.

Pet Adoption Network, LTD

$5,000 to be used towards veterinary expenses covering basic evaluations and necessary emergency surgeries required in preparation for adoption.

RocDog, Inc.

$3,000 to be used to rescue, vet, train, and places dogs as Therapy Support Dogs for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as other visual or hearing impairments.

$2,600 to purchase lifelike, robotic pets for children receiving palliative care who would benefit from the companionship of a dog or a cat but cannot care for a live animal due to a life-limiting medical condition.

$15,000 to purchase additional, essential equipment for the Healing Paws Medical Suite including an anesthesia machine, surgical table, and dental machine to provide veterinary care to kittens and cats in preparation for adoption.

$10,000 to be used towards spay/neuter procedures and routine veterinary care for kittens and cats transferred from Rochester Animal Services and Lollypop Farm in preparation for adoption.

Headed For Furever, Inc.

$7,000 to be used to spay/neuter, vaccinate, and provide medical care for at least 100 community kittens and cats that will then be returned to their feral cat colonies in the surrounding Scottsville, NY area.

$5,000 to be used to spay/neuter, provide veterinary care, and basic supplies needed to care for 22 feral cat colonies in Rochester, NY.

Humane Society of Wayne County

$2,500 to be used towards the Spay Neuter Incentive Fund which provides accessible, low-cost spay/neuter services for low-income families in Wayne County.

NYS Animal Protection Federation Education Fund

$10,000 to purchase essential surgical equipment including an adjustable Exam Table, mobile Anesthesia Unit, Surgical Light, and Microchip Readers to increase an animal’s quality of life and decrease companion animal overpopulation.

ROC The Dogs Rescue, Inc.

$8,000 to be used towards medical care which will cover spaying / neutering, vaccinations, surgeries, dental care and medications for dogs that were rescued and rehabilitated in preparation for adoption.

Full Hearts Cat Rescue

$6,000 to be used towards basic and emergency veterinary care required for kitten and cat rehabilitation in preparation for adoption, as well as for the purchase of food for kittens and cats in foster care.

Brindle Posse Rescue

$5,400 to be used towards the medical and emergency veterinary care associated with taking care of senior dogs and dogs entering hospice while living out their lives comfortably with foster care volunteers.
